This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We have a vacancy for a Council Tax Revenues Officer. The main purpose of the role will be to process documentation relating to Council tax payers\accounts. Deal with customers both verbal and in writing to obtain evidence relating to the customers request and see customers at the counter in Broxbourne on an appointment basis when required.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Process full range of duties for revenues officer role
  • Process documents for Council tax accounts\payers within Liberata operational model
  • Ensure accounts are amended accurately and at the earliest opportunity
  • Answer correspondence fully and in a timely manner

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience of working the Revenues field
  • Competency in use of various IT systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Security vetting and checks:

If you are successful, you will need to comply with the government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard Verification process, this includes a basic criminal record check which will identify any “unspent” convictions. If you are unable to meet these requirements your offer may be revoked.
