Payroll Team Leader

This is a Temporary, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Contract type: Fixed term, initially 6 months maternity cover which may be extended by up to 3 months

We are seeking to recruit a Payroll Team Leader. The role will involve but is not limited to the following:

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and vision to the Payroll Department
  • Responsible for delivering the payroll service to meet and exceed contract standards in terms of output, both quality and quantity
  • Employee leadership – direct responsibility for Team Members
  • Motivate and develop team, performance management of all staff to ensure high achievement recognised and issues resolved
  • Manage and develop client relationship both internal and external
  • Development of system, ensuring issues logged and resolved and continuous improvement of system
  • Develop talented individuals ensuring that they deliver an effective payroll service
  • Contribute towards the sustainable growth of payroll
  • Continually strive to improve all processes by undertaking regular reviews
  • Participate in projects as and when required
  • Assist the Payroll Operations Manager with misc tasks as and when required 
  • You must adhere to Data Protection Act requirements and Client confidentiality; and adhere to the Liberata Policies and Procedures
